Important Update 8/8/2012: Server is now running 1.3.1. Update 8/7/2012: I am planning on updating the server to 1.3 on August 8th at around 7:00PM CDT. If everything works out and the server is lag free we will stay on 1.3. If the server starts to lag I will switch back to 1.2.5 again. I apologize for the random switches, but due to the poor quality in the recent builds of CraftBukkit this is how it has to be. I am fairly confident everything should be fine with 1.3 as of now. Update 8/5/2012: After installing 1.3.1 the server was having major lag spikes. I realize everyone wants to play 1.3.1, but it is not reasonable to update as of this time. As soon as CraftBukkit has an actual build that works well I will update. There is nothing I can do at the moment other than wait on the CraftBukkit team. If you already updated you can get the Minecraft Version Changer and downgrade to 1.2.5. I will keep everyone informed of any news on the update. ------------------------------ Sunday, August 5th at 11:00 AM CDT the server will be going down for maintenance and a possible update to 1.3. The maintenance should last about 45 minutes and is just some routine cleanup and moving around of files, After the maintenance is complete I will likely be updating the server to 1.3. There is a chance that the server will stay 1.3 and there is also just as good of a chance that I will decide to go back to 1.2.5. The reason it is not certain whether or not the server will stay on 1.3 is that I need to see if there are any performance issues with the current build of 1.3. That means the first few hours after the server is back up if you build or do something it could be rolled back if there are problems with 1.3. I am fairly confident that everything should work fine, as I have been testing 1.3 for the past few days and have had no major issues. If I notice any lag I will probably go back to 1.2.5 within a few minutes. That being said, if you are around tomorrow around noon CDT I would encourage you to log on the server so we can make sure there are no performance issues with 30-40 players online.
