Estimated Date of event: Monday, October 1st This is going to be a FREE entry, and should be a very successful PvP event. I hope to show the Community that an event like this would not only be better than the current Clan Cup setup, but more fun as well. Rather than Faction vs Faction fights, I would like to have 2-4 person teams sign up. All the fights would be 2v2, and each match would consist of a 5 game series (similar to baseball, basketball or hockey). Each game within the series will have different fighting rules, which I will explain below. My purpose of having 2 or more members in a team is to allow substitutions. I know everyone has their special weapon or way of fighting and that is why I would like to have more than 2 people per team. I want to encourage everyone to join, all Staff and SA’s included! All matches are give backs. The fight will take place in a War Zone so no need to worry about leaving factions! Rules: Enchants allowed Follow rules for each fight or disqualified If you leave the Arena you are disqualified Rules for each fight within the 5 game series: Fight 1: Any armor of your choosing. Swords, Bows, Pots (except Harm/Poison), Golden Apples, Ender Pearls and NO Unarmed! Fight 2: Any armor of your choosing. Axes, Bows, Pots (except Harm/Poison), Golden Apples, Ender Pearls and NO Unarmed! Fight 3: Any armor of your choosing. Unarmed, Health Pots/Golden Apples and Ender Pearls ONLY Fight 4 & 5: Anything you want to use (ALL Pots, Eggs, etc…). If your team makes it to these rounds, it is about how clever and how well you have studied your opponent the previous 3 fights. *In fights 1,2 &3: if it’s not mentioned, it is not allowed! This tournament is about what team is the best overall. My suggestion is to not have a team that is only good with 1 weapon. Try and be diverse to help give you the edge in your fights. To Apply: Team Name and names of players *I will be adding a Bracket once i see how many teams there are. Also I will be asking some players to also be moderators to help ref some fights. Prizes: 1st place: 200,000 split between winning team plus each member receives full set of Protection 1 enchanted Armor and a Sharpness III Knockback I diamond Sword. 2nd place: 50,000 split between the team and 30 Emeralds each player. 3rd place: 30 Emeralds each player. This event will take place in a war zone, so it will be just like Nuketown or Terminal, you can attack anyone there. Just grab a teamate or 2 and post your team name along with your team member names. I am glad to see individual people are signing up, but we need to start seeing Teams sign up soon. I know that. I just want to show you that this type of tournament will work. I still want it to remain Faction vs Faction in Clan Cup, but for my purposes in this event I wanted teams to sign up.
Hey everyone, The end of the month is approaching quickly. I need you all to start signing up and giving me your team names. I plan on having 8 teams. I see many of you are interested so just give me your team name and let me know who is with you. Any ideas you have in order to make this tournament a success, I want to hear them. I am giving in game rewards for any Ideas you give that will help make this the best event it can be. I am hoping the ideas here will model for future Clan Cups and make them a more enjoyable event, so don't be shy and get the ideas coming!
I think the fact that people haven't signed up for this tournament, given the prizes, proves one of 2 things. 1. This is no longer a pvp server. or 2. No body goes on the forums. It makes it hard to get these events going when there's only maybe 30 people that check the forums on a daily basis. Half of which are staff lol. But sheesh the prizes for this event are outrageously good. It's free to enter. How in the world would people not enter for this!!

I am already with Sadd, Goose, Rovert and I, but Rovert is free to join you and make another team. That would be great to get more teams!
