It is the time that a lot of you have been waiting patiently for. The Battleground world is returning on Saturday, August 25th. The new Battleground will be officially open at 8PM CDT on August 25th.
The world has already been generated and it is a complete 1.3 world with a size of 2000 x 2000. The world will not be expanded so that it encourages Factions to work to protect their land and not run and hide.
Also, on Saturday, August 25th we will be releasing the updated Faction rules that all Faction Admins will need to read and understand right away. These rules change a few things in regards to how the Battleground world will work.
The server is now updated to minecraft 1.3.1. I want everyone to know that you should expect some lag with this update. CraftBukkit still has some issues that are causing servers to lag on 1.3.1. There is nothing we can do about it right now.
I have considered going back to 1.2.5, but there are more positives that outweigh the little bit of lag you will notice. I am hoping within a week or sooner that CraftBukkit will release a better performing version.
Please, do not complain about the lag. I am aware of it. If you can't handle the lag, you should log out and wait until we update to a better performing version of CraftBukkit. It will not help to spam the chat with "OMG LAG". Thanks for your consideration.
There was an error with one of the plugins and it caused the server to timeout. I couldn't fix it until I was home and was able to view the server logs.
Because of an unknown reason the server is down right now.
Jigsaw is unable to log on right now, so please be patient. The problem should be fixed within a few hours at the most. The bottom line is that there is nothing wrong with your client, computer or network, nor is it because you haven't upgraded. MutinyCraft is still on 1.2.5.
The server is just simply down. Please be patient.
I am planning on updating the server to 1.3 on August 8th at around 7:00PM CDT. If everything works out and the server is lag free we will stay on 1.3. If the server starts to lag I will switch back to 1.2.5 again.
I apologize for the random switches, but due to the poor quality in the recent builds of CraftBukkit this is how it has to be. I am fairly confident everything should be fine with 1.3 as of now.
